MORGAN & ALEX MITCHELL (DIRECTOR)
Morgan’s life looks much like that of the prodigal son. After spending years struggling with drugs, alcohol and the ways of the world, he entered his new life in Christ through baptism in 2003. He has since served the Lord and continues to make him his life passion.
At the age of 10, Alex gave her life to the Lord and received two life visions: missions and intercession. Over the next 10 years of her life she got involved in as many mission opportunities as possible, serving with YWAM and also local churches. 2004 began the next ten year season of learning the art of intercession, applying it to everyday life.
Morgan & Alex have a passion to run after Jesus with their life, to get to know Him, to hear His voice, and to serve Him. They have four beautiful children: Miah, Joseph, Tessa, and Haven.
DAVE EICKENROTH (WORSHIP COORDINATOR)
David Eickenroth was born into the Kingdom of God in 1972. He was a professional musician for many years, playing in rock bands around the Midwest and living the life of a rock musician. David graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelors degree in English literature and history. When David became a Christian, the Lord called him to be a psalmist and worship leader, which he has done faithfully some 40+ years. He has written many worship songs that have been used in some of the local fellowships and churches. David was also involved in the music business, starting and maintaining local guitar shops for forty years.
David is now a staff member at GTHOP and spends many hours worshiping and interceding for the city, America, and Israel. His one desire is to dwell in the house of the Lord and gaze upon his beauty. David is married to his beautiful wife Julie who is a very talented and gifted teacher and has a dynamic ministry called HEARTSKILLS!
MARY MITCHELL (STAFF)
Mary has been involved in the Grand Traverse House Of Prayer since 2010 and officially became a member of our staff early in 2015. She currently serves in several areas including being a prayer watchman, singing, and helping to maintain the cleanliness of our facility. She is honored to serve god here at GTHOP.
KAYLAH DRISKELL (COMMUNICATIONS)
Kaylah is originally from the rural community of Wheatland, Wyoming. She grew up in a pastor’s home, so ministry is no stranger to this girl. She has used her gifts as a violinist to serve the Lord since she started playing and got saved in 1994, playing with congregational hymns and on praise teams in every church that she has been part of. In 2011, as she was finishing her Music Education degree from the University of Wyoming, she started teaching private violin lessons, which grew into a full-blown studio with multiple locations and instructors. When the Holy Spirit made it clear that it was time for a fresh start in Kaylah’s life, she made the decision to re-locate and start over in Traverse City. She has been on staff with GTHOP since January of 2023 and is so thankful to be in this new season of her life.
