Morgan’s life looks much like that of the prodigal son. After spending years struggling with drugs, alcohol and the ways of the world, he entered his new life in Christ through baptism in 2003. He has since served the Lord and continues to make him his life passion.

At the age of 10, Alex gave her life to the Lord and received two life visions: missions and intercession. Over the next 10 years of her life she got involved in as many mission opportunities as possible, serving with YWAM and also local churches. 2004 began the next ten year season of learning the art of intercession, applying it to everyday life.

Morgan & Alex have a passion to run after Jesus with their life, to get to know Him, to hear His voice, and to serve Him.  They have four beautiful children, Miah (7), Joseph (5), Tessa (2), and Haven, who was born November, 2015.

Together, Nigel and Sandy have ministered as worship leaders and teachers in several European countries and more recently in South Africa. They lived for over seven years in Jerusalem, Israel, helping to establish a house of prayer, Succat Hallel, with their friends, Rick and Patti ridings. In 2009, Nigel and Sandy partnered with Morgan and Alex Mitchell to establish the Grand Traverse House Of Prayer and continue to serve in this ministry.

Nigel has become known for his passion for the presence of God, and his in-depth Biblical teaching on a variety of topics including prayer and intercession, and God’s heart and purpose for Israel. Nigel and Sandy continue to minister within the United States and internationally, yearning to see God’s kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Currently in the marketplace, Rita has worked with Teen Challenge, helped in founding Transformation Traverse City, has been a large supporter of Transformation Michigan, and is also connected to the Oak Initiative. As an ordained minister, it is Rita’s heart to bring God’s word, His restoration, and His physical healing to His people. By the Lord’s leading, and with confirmation of signs and wonders, she founded the women’s ministry, WOIFC, in 2009. Her passion is to see worship and prayer move the church into restoration.

Rita is director of the healing rooms ministry at GTHOP. The healing rooms are regularly seeing physical healing, inner healing, and hearts being changed by the love of the Father.
